This Senior IT Service Delivery Engineer will be joining an exciting, mid-sized international Biotechnology company in Berlin, where they are actively pushing the boundaries in developing treatments across a range of challenging human diseases.
The Senior IT Service Delivery Engineer will provide users with 1st – 3rd Line technical support and Service Management across Request, Incident & Problem Management too.
With the business actively improving the company’s current IT environment & capabilities, the Senior IT Service Delivery Engineer will also work as part of project teams tasked with delivering the systems & technologies required by the organization over the short, medium & longer term.
-Other Responsibilities Include:
Managing support calls via the IT Service Desk.
Ensuring the ITSM system is updated with each incident.
Providing a high-quality support service, ensuring users are updated on progress.
Providing support & administration of Office 365, Active Directory, Sharepoint, Azure, VMWare, Veeam, MS Teams, PC’s, Laptops, Smart Mobiles & Tablets.
Escalating support calls when necessary.
-Skills & Experience:
Computing related degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience of supporting & administration of MS Azure or Office 365
Experience of Sharepoint administration
Strong Active Directory skills in Azure or Office 365
Experience of Veeam and VMWare or similar
Experience of supporting Unified Communications technologies
Networking experience including new network infrastructure
Ability to develop positive working relationships with Users, IT Colleagues, Service Providers & external Support Services.
Both German & English language skills.
