We are recruiting for a Therapeutic Area Lead / Medical Monitor (rare diseases) to be based in Italy

Salary €80-100,000 pa

Our client was founded over 20 years ago and is a full-service science-driven biotech-focused International CRO providing premium trial management for multi-country clinical trials. Their expertise covers all phases of drug-related trials as well as clinical investigations for medical and diagnostic devices

Position

We are looking for an experienced Medical Monitor, who is a medical doctor, with experience in rare diseases to work as Therapeutic Area Lead. This position will include conducting Medical Monitoring of Clinical Studies within this area of expertise. For this role, home working can be considered with some travel expected.

 

What will the role involve

-Develop, review and revise protocol, case report forms, training material, project-specific tools, analysis plans design, clinical trial reports

-Prepare materials for investigator meetings and site initiation visits

-Actively participate in investigator meetings and site initiation visits

-Provide medical/scientific expertise to project teams

-Responsible for medical and safety monitoring on assigned projects

-Assist when needed with data safety monitoring board activities

-Provide clinical and medical expertise

-Develop training modules and materials, and provide training in disease states and protocol-specific requirements across the Company

-Perform medical data review – reviews laboratory values, adverse events, coding dictionaries and data tables, listings, and figures as needed

-Provide leadership and present medical/scientific capabilities to clients as a participant of a proposal team presenting the capabilities of the unit 

-Leverage was known and build new relationships with investigators/sites to perform site/investigator feasibility, engage Investigators and execute medical monitoring in close cooperation with clients, in order to optimize site selection and support to recruiting and conduct trials

-Able to present or serve on panels to represent the company at conferences and scientific meetings

I have an exciting opportunity become available for a Gate Drive Systems Engineer, to work for a world leader in the development and manufacture of high-performance semiconductors. This role will be based out of Milan, Italy.

The Gate Drive Systems Engineer will be responsible for product definition, architecture, and strategic customer support of my client's Gate Drive product line.

You will work closely with other teams including design and test engineers and will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Develop specifications and product architectures for Gate Drives.

• Take ownership of the generation of applications reports and reference designs.

• Verify performance of Gate Driver boards.

The Gate Drive Systems Engineer will have a degree in electronics or electrical engineering and a proven background in the following:

• Industry experience in Gate driver or power electronics

• Knowledge of at least one embedded system (FPGA, DSP, or MCU)

• Modelling in MATLAB/Simulink
