I have an exciting opportunity become available for a Gate Drive Systems Engineer, to work for a world leader in the development and manufacture of high-performance semiconductors. This role will be based out of Milan, Italy. The Gate Drive Systems Engineer will be responsible for product definition, architecture, and strategic customer support of my client's Gate Drive product line. You will work closely with other teams including design and test engineers and will be responsible for the following tasks: • Develop specifications and product architectures for Gate Drives. • Take ownership of the generation of applications reports and reference designs. • Verify performance of Gate Driver boards. The Gate Drive Systems Engineer will have a degree in electronics or electrical engineering and a proven background in the following: • Industry experience in Gate driver or power electronics • Knowledge of at least one embedded system (FPGA, DSP, or MCU) • Modelling in MATLAB/Simulink If this Gate Drive Systems Engineer vacancy is of interest, then please get in touch to find out more.
