Data Strategy Manager - Luxury Fashion Brand Location: Remote / London Salary: £50k - £55k The People, culture & team Reporting to the Data Strategy & Insights Director, you will work amongst a team of customer insight and data strategy experts, all focused on building out and running an EMEA-wide CRM program. The Head of CRM (EMEA) is a huge selling point for this role; an energetic and passionate character who loves her job and team – expects only the best and rewards accordingly. She is also a huge advocate for the culture and brand, describing the local EMEA and Global teams as a family, where there are huge amounts of support, collaboration, and training opportunities available at every level. We are looking for ambitious, confident, strategic thinkers who bring their own lens to the role – as there is every opportunity to have a real impact on a grand scale and to make the role your own – ownership is offered and celebrated here! The environment is extremely fast paced, so you need to be comfortable with change and demonstrate adaptability and the ability to think on your feet. The reward is joining a forward-thinking business, and highly data-driven CRM function, which offers a wealth of learning in using data to drive sophisticated CRM and personalized marketing. The company & role Described as closer to a high street retailer in its mechanics and pace, you will be joining a company that has already been heavily invested in Data Science for the last few years, partnering with one of the UK’s most advanced Data Agencies, where they have been leveraging machine learning and AI techniques and solutions to improve the decision making across the business, not just around marketing related activities. This role is focused on working closely with the external CRM & data agency to ensure the right data sets are in place for AI engines, targeted marketing, segmentations, and models to perform, which in turn inform multichannel marketing campaigns for ecomm, retail, and outlet channels. You will map out data capture points – what does that look like, where do the data flows go, to which platform and does that platform talk to all the other platforms it needs to and does it drive the right activity? Additionally, we need a strategic thinker, someone who can assess what data capture opportunities there are or could be, how do we use this in media, and what needs to be in place for all this to work properly. You will also own the customer funnel, ensuring that errors and anomalies are identified across the data flows, and fixed quickly by your team of two direct reports and partner technical experts at the data agency. Additionally, they have built a data lake in SQL, which in the main works really well, but it’s coming to the point whereas they look to do even cleverer stuff with their data, plugging new or legacy platforms into it, is throwing up problems which need to be addressed - which is where you come in.
