What you'll do
Maintains the integrity of real estate portfolio data for allocated client portfolios under general supervision. Inputs, manages, coordinates, and reports information on lease dates, dollar amounts, and financial accounting transactions into a lease management software database. Prepares, processes, and reconciles transactions to ensure correct and up-to-date lease information is maintained.
Important roles and responsibilities
By conducting research and gathering data on payment transactions, lease conditions, and other pertinent items upon request, you can help the manager address important issues for your clients.creates and revises lease abstracts to ensure accuracy and to support reports that are created by computers. gives descriptions of the monthly variance reports. provides clients with lease analysis and information interpretation.keeps track of the receivables and payables related to the leases in the portfolio. uses a database to process customer rent rolls. export files are ready and sent to accounting for processing of accounts payable.creates invoices for subtenants, checks incoming invoices for accuracy and mistakes in relation to the lease document, reconciles subtenant accounts, and guarantees proper coding.
carries out the yearly operational expense reconciliations, keeps an eye on the audit windows, and follows the lease papers' audit requirements.
creating and distributing reports on a regular and as-needed basis in a precise and timely manner. runs ad hoc reports with help and standard reports for managerial approval. helps in report design by employing a range of software tools.
Creates and distributes important date reports; keeps track of important dates and tasks with a tickler system.
creates and updates client lease files to make sure they have correct, up-to-date information.
May do accounting and financial analysis as needed, including creating budgets and rent rolls in compliance with legal accounting requirements.
